Here is the straightforward truth about the word of God. His word contains actual power. I mean real power that comes from God because it’s HIS word! I’m not talking hypothetically; quote the Bible like a mantra until something happens.
For the word of God will never fail. Luke 1:37

Every believer who has confessed faith in Jesus as their savior has the beautiful gift of trusting God’s word for their lives. That means you have access to all the promises found in scripture.
So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith. Galatians 3:9

According to scripture, your faith is the key to laying hold of the promises found in scripture. It all sounds so simple, but with the hardships of life and an enemy working to destroy your faith every second of every day, faith can feel elusive. Here is a practical step to get you moving toward faith.
Scripture teaches, “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” Romans 10:17NLT.
I floundered in my faith for years until I started praying for wisdom and reading my Bible daily. I made myself commit to doing activities that grow faith. I’m not saying it will always feel easy, but you can choose to remain where you are or try faith and see where God takes you.
Lastly, know that God is Lord. We get to believe in his word, but we do not get to tell Him when and how to fulfill it. I’ve learned that God’s timing rarely matches my “I need it now mentality!” He is THE GOD OF ALL CREATION, and he does know best. Looking back over my life, I am grateful for God’s wisdom and timing. There are certain things I’ve asked God for that I am so glad he did not give me. In every one of those instances, He gave me something better.
